ABOUT NICKY

I am a queer trans-masc nonbinary artist and raconteur currently residing in Atlanta, GA, Mvskoke Land. I grew up in northern Illinois, Meskwahki Land; deeply rooted to the prairie lands and the way my family worked with the Earth and community. I feel called to help build socially conscious environments and unlearn disconnected 'cis-tems' through emotional, relational and collective work, while being in right relation with myself and those around me.
I have a Bachelors in Sociology from GSU with 15 years of marketing experience. I have continued my ancestral love of storytelling from its usage in oral history to its translation to modern technology. I have paired this passion with my marketing expertise to be the artist I am today. Working in design, branding, photography, filmography, embroidery, crafting and collective consulting, both personally and professionally.
